We had a delightful experience at this charming dog-friendly place. The food was amazing and the chocolate brownie was truly exceptional. Despite a small issue with the temperature in the ladies' toilets, we will definitely return to try more dishes on the menu.

This country pub is truly gorgeous with a traditional range of beers and a warm, welcoming fire. The theme nights, especially the game meat night, are a must-try. The chef's passion for food is evident, and the staff are great. Overall, a gem in the neighborhood.

Had a pleasant seniors lunch with friends on Wednesday. The food was well-presented and delicious. The seniors menu offers smaller portions but is satisfying for lunch, with a nice dessert included for £9.95. The pub has both outside and inside seating options. Overall, a faultless experience and will definitely return.

We were house hunting in the area and decided to have lunch here since it's close to where we want to be. The bar staff were friendly and welcoming, and the cozy sofas and chairs added to the homely atmosphere. We enjoyed the Wednesday pensioners menu for lunch, and the coffee was great. Once we move from Hertfordshire, we'll definitely visit again.

This pub is wonderfully charming with a cozy and relaxed atmosphere, serving delicious food and having very welcoming staff. Our little Scottie dog was well taken care of, and we were impressed with the menu and the meals. The service from all the staff was excellent, so a big thank you to everyone! 10/10.

Although we didn't eat, we found this to be a nice little pub that serves food (except on Mondays as per the website). Despite the confusion with the opening hours, we had a pleasant visit enjoying drinks on Bank Holiday Monday until 7pm. The quirky decor, including former beer barrels turned into urinals and animal drawings in the dining area, added to the charm of the place.

Five of us dined, and one person in our group ordered lite bites that were overcooked, as she informed the waitress. Two of us ordered hot chocolate that wasn't served hot. Despite these issues, nothing was deducted from the bill. We do not plan on returning.

Six of us had a mid-week lunch together. Unfortunately, the chicken drumsticks and filo prawns were overcooked, and the 5 bean chilli was not very tasty. Additionally, the hot chocolate was lukewarm.
